Will this fit inside the first chamber of a biocube 32?

This protein skimmer measures approximately 3.25 inches in diameter by 10.625 inches long. The compact size makes this skimmer ideal for most mini-reef aquariums up to 30 gallons.

Does this work in a fresh water aquarium? Also is it fit for bio tanks?

This skimmer is not compatible with bio tanks and is only suitable for saltwater aquariums.

is a skimmer necessary with a canister filter? what size for a 60 gallon saltwater tank

A canister filter only helps with ammonia and solid waste. A protein skimmer gets out the smaller things that filters cant by agitating the water and allowing the smaller particles of waste and proteins to get trapped in bubbles. Its highly recommend to get a skimmer. This skimmer removes organic wastes in aquariums up to 30 gallons.

If you don't empty the waste, will it empty out onto floor if mounted on outside? or does it have overflow protection where it would go back in tank?

This skimmer is designed to be inside the aquarium. If the collection cup is not emptied, it will flow back into the aquarium.

They work great are easy to set up and adjust with VERY little noise and no problems with micro bubbles leaking back into the tank. And with their promotion of $20 off the price it was a no brainer! Works great! Highly recommended.

I bought this for my 32.5 gallon fluval flex saltwater aquarium. I was able to fit it in the back compartment of the tank. It started working almost immediately

I bought this for my 32.5 gallon fluval flex saltwater aquarium. I was able to fit it in the back compartment of the tank. It started working almost immediately after a very short break in period. It's easy to adust and clean. The only issue is that the water level of the tank needs to be a specific height onto the skimmer. The skimmer catch container on top overhangs a bit preventing me from going any lower in the tank, so I had to fill the tank a little higher. No big deal. I would recommend this skimmer.

It Works just fine

Once you set the correct water lever and dial the right flow it does work.removing then putting back the collection cup needs forceful pressure. So that pushes it

Not consistant

It is next to impossible to get this thing right. It has been nothing but a pain in the butt! On the bright side, it fits in my biocube perfectly. The only downfall

It is next to impossible to get this thing right. It has been nothing but a pain in the butt! On the bright side, it fits in my biocube perfectly. The only downfall is that the pump doesn't put out consistant flow so I can't keep it dialed in. So... its next to useless.

Chewy is great. Product is terrible.

It overflows like an insane amount. I did all the mods. Nothing. It didn't matter what I did to it. I had it so far out of the water the vent was sucking in air

It overflows like an insane amount. I did all the mods. Nothing. It didn't matter what I did to it. I had it so far out of the water the vent was sucking in air and it still filled the cup in under 30 seconds. Thank goodness it was cheap. Buying something else next payday. This was a waste.

Great product for a tank under 30 gallons

The AQUATICLIFE 115 Mini Internal, is a great device, the price and the manufacturing. it toke a little bit to adjust it until I found the correct level so it does

The AQUATICLIFE 115 Mini Internal, is a great device, the price and the manufacturing. it toke a little bit to adjust it until I found the correct level so it does not fill the cup with water to fast, but after setting within 4 hours I had the cup with splatters of proteins on the walls and a little bit of water that was not even transparent with all that was in it, cleaning it out and 24 hours latter from the first time running I had the rime of the center peace with a dark ring, and the bet of water in the cup dirty very evident the presences of proteins, the sound that many complain is true but the solution of attaching an air line that I put inside a pill bottle with 2 straws on the opposite end and a small peace of cotton the sound went away simple, fast and in expansive solution .

I purchased this, knowing that when they are new, they send a lot of micro bubbles into the tank, and make a lot of noise. I did the noise fix that I found everyone

I purchased this, knowing that when they are new, they send a lot of micro bubbles into the tank, and make a lot of noise. I did the noise fix that I found everyone was doing, worked good. Micro bubbles went away after about 2 weeks, all is good. Now a few months later, micro bubbles are back and no cleaning or waiting has helped, and they are worse than ever before. By far the absolute worst protein skimmer I have ever used

There's a learning curve to these things but after asking a friend how to use this correctly, it's working great. Came pretty much set up. Once you get passed the break-in period and figure out the dial setting that works for you, it's great. It's been picking up a lot of crap, the water is getting clearer and so is the tank. Lots of bubbles in the beginning but once it broke in and I figured it all out, it's a lot better.

Ive had my skimmer for almost a year now and it works great but there are a few flaws. It is a little noisy but most skimmers are, it does produce a lot of microbubbles

Ive had my skimmer for almost a year now and it works great but there are a few flaws. It is a little noisy but most skimmers are, it does produce a lot of microbubbles so it’s best not to put it in the display. I did the airline mod and it helped a lot with the noise. Water levels must be consistent or else it doesn’t work properly so either be on top of evap or get an ATO.
