Best food for aquatic snails?

Is this a good food for brine shrimp?

Would this be safe for a betta if he ate it? I’m going to keep ghost shrimp with a betta to see if I can keep other fish or more shrimp with him.

Horrible, disintegrates into a mess

Instructions say to remove from tank after 24 hrs. When I tried with my long tweezers, the puck exploded into a mess. Threw it away immediately, there is no way

Instructions say to remove from tank after 24 hrs. When I tried with my long tweezers, the puck exploded into a mess. Threw it away immediately, there is no way to keep a tank tidy with this. Not looking forward to having to vacuum it all up on this weekends water change.
