Brighter than I thought it would be.

After reading other reviews, I was worried that the light would not be bright enough. I decided to try it any way because the price was reasonable. To my surprise,

To my surprise, it was just as bright as the fluorescent fixture that it replaced. It also has a blue night light as well. Very happy with the purchase.

Not worth it

I have two aqueon modular lights a 24” and a 30”, after buying the light, and getting the light bulbs I was content with them until I come home one day and thought

I have two aqueon modular lights a 24” and a 30”, after buying the light, and getting the light bulbs I was content with them until I come home one day and thought my fluval aquasky was on thunderstorm setting, wrong tank my aqueon modular was blinking, called aqueon tech got told they could tell me where to buy a new power adapter, I bought my fluval aquasky before the aqueon, it’s still running fine and all it’s cost we’re in its total, i could understand if the power went out and I didn’t have my light on a surge protector, but for it to just malfunction on a clear calm day and it is on a surge protector to get told by tech he could refer me to a site that I could purchase another power adapter for this light, lastly when I asked how much a new adapter would cost all the tech said was We don’t set the price we’re just the manufacture, I recommend spending a little more upfront and getting a fluval at least all the prices with there lights is a one time purchase

I’ve had a fluorescent light on my 29 gallon for the longest time so I decided to try out this LED fixture. I love the design, which makes it easy to attach and size to any aquarium, and it lights up the tank way better than before. It comes with one bulb but there’s slots for more if you prefer and a day and night time switch too. My live plants even do well with this light.
