I see this is used in the new models. I just order my new one. I also see carbon ones too. do you used both or one? I would be more concern with ammonia built up. Just wondering thanks

When using the Aqueon QuietFlow LED PRO Aquarium Power Filter, the Aqueon QuietFlow Specialty 30/50 Ammonia Reducing Filter Pad and the Carbon Filter Cartridges are used together.
Will this product fit my aqueon 110 filter?

These pads are pre-cut to fit inside the Aqueon Quiet Flow LED PRO Power Filters.

Would prefer a solid, larger pad to cut to size

I like to use these for shipping fish, adding a chunk in the bag keeps ammonia levels safe during transit. Just wish they had a larger pad rather than these dinky strips.

Ive been looking all over for these in person but ended up getting them from Chewy. Cheaper here (even if shipping was added), good product, happy fish.

a nice addition to a newly cycling tank
