Not as sturdy as some
We have three different styles of snuffle mats for our dog and this is our least favorite. While there are a variety of places to hide treats, the construction of the mat is not very sturdy and the mat itself is light enough to get pulled and folded when our pup is working on it.
Great for pup bored with food/bowl
My dog is a natural "snuffler." She loves sniffing in grass, leaves, carpet, anything she can sniff in. She gets bored with a bowl of kibble but also is on a diet so slower, more engaged eating is best. The variety of the mat is really nice. Keeps her engaged and keeps her from scarfing it all down in just a few minutes. It's been about a week and a half and the mat has not gotten dirty or accumulated grime but seems easy enough to clean. She's a chewer and tugs at the pieces and flaps but no tears.
Great enrichment for puppies
Our puppies love this snuffle mat, we hide a small handful of their kibble in it for enrichment play. We purchased a couple different ones and this one they get into the most. They really enjoy the center portion. This product seems to be better quality than the other snuffle mat we purchased. It folds and buckles nicely for storage too.
Of no interest to Havanese Puppies
The only part of this product that my puppies were interested in were the plastic closures on the straps on the reverse side. They flipped it over to gnaw on them and of course they splintered and broke immediately so I had to cut them off. No interest in the front side even with treats in it.
Great size for my golden doodle! Love It
my golden doodle loves it! We have this one and another model. I mix in kibble and treats for her to find. It keeps her busy for a few minutes. My dog is getting bigger so I like this size compared to the smaller sizes I've seen elsewhere. If your dog has a broader snout, this will keep them busy with the larger grass areas. Easy to wash in the laundry on gentle and keeps it fresh!
poor stitching
This snuffle pad is poorly stitched. My pooch loves snuffle pads but this didn't hold up at all -- photos were taken after 3 uses of this pad.
Perfect for my puppy
Bought this snuffle mat after doing some reviews and comparing with alternatives online. This one from Archstone pets stood out to me and my puppy loves it! Keeps her entertained while I'm busy and helps her her away from wanting to chew up the furniture lol
Perfect for grammy's pooch!
Purchased this as a present for my grammy and her pooch loves! Keep her entertained and uses up her energy during the day. Would recommend
Low Quality
I bought this to replace another snuffle mat that looked the same style but this one is smaller, lower quality and looks washed out.
