My dog LOVES this snuffle mat. It took him a few feedings to get used to all the different pockets his kibble could be hidden in, but now he does not miss a single piece. Instead of scarfing down his food in 2 minutes, using this mat buys me about 10 to 15. I would highly recommend if you want to challenge your dog a bit mentally AND would like to slow down their eating.
A great puzzle for our senior beagle

Great for mealtime
Indy wolfs down food so he gets his dinner in puzzle toys and snuffle mats. This is his new favorite. Lots of places to hide his kibble. Keeps him busy for awhile

My cats were not interested in finding treats in this mat. If it were simpler, they may have been more enthusiastic. Dogs may be more intrigued.

High hopes
I have a dog that is a super sniffer and thought this would make him happy. I need to 100% monitor as he is more interested in tearing the mat apart instead to take

I have done my best to instruct him and guide on what to do but just not sinking in and before it ruins our relationship, I have put it aside. It was the more expensive one I purchased. Thinking of trying the round one with deep loops. Maybe all the different types of treat hiding places on this one is just to much for my pup.
