This looks great and is very functional. My new kitten likes to toss litter as far from the box as possible, and this enclosed box prevents my entire floor from being covered with litter. Plus, it looks great! I put kitty supplies on the shelf and some cheery plants on top. Before I searched Chewy, I didn't know that this type of litterbox enclosure even existed. I am glad it does! (p.s. it was easy to assemble, according to my husband)
Looks nice but not sturdy
I read the reviews and they looked pretty great. So I’m bummed my experience wasn’t the same. While putting it together I realized some of the pre-cut holes and grooves were on the wrong sides. I checked so many times to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong, but alas, things weren’t adding up. So I had to improvise. This is probably the reason it’s not sturdy. But I had already opened it and begun putting it together. It looks nice but I’m definitely going to need to use some glue to strengthen the structure. I would suggest getting it but only if you can take the chance of needing to do some extra work yourself. Not worth the $100+ price tag.
Although it “looks” nice and sturdy IT IS NOT! Very flimsy. I’m going to have to use glue to put it together so it won’t keep falling apart. Not worth the money at all.
Most impressed with how product was packaged and how all pieces were marked making for easy assembly.
Worth the Money
Great product. Product arrived undamaged and was easy to assemble. Big enough for even our 15 pound cat to use with ease. The only litter that gets on the floor is the litter from their paws.
Love the enclosed litter
This is my second type of kitty litter enclosure, I moved states so I decided to buy one that was more of a side table (I live in a small studio). It was easy to assemble and it looks great, I love the white. The only issue is when I compared my Tidy Cats Breeze litter dimensions to this enclosure, it was supposed to fit. It does not. I just removed the back of the enclosure and it fits fine. My cat has used it but it may be a little tight for my 18 LB baby. I’ll likely keep it nonetheless.
So glad I purchased this. My cats took to it without hesitation and it looks so much nicer than a regular liter box, plus having the added storage shelf and top to place things on. Now I can have it in our kitchen nook and put a bunch of plants on top, can't even tell what it is other than a little table. Sturdy material, good quality.
Great quality, but defeated by Larry
I had a very large litter cabinet, but sold my house & down sized to an apartment. I bought this cabinet with high hopes, thinking I would love it like I had my larger cabinet. The quality is great, I love the look of it. It fits perfectly in the laundry room. The shelf was an excellent place for bags & the scoop. Everything was great, until Larry answered nature’s call. Now, Larry’s brother Moe is a standard size cat & had no issues with the size of this new commode. Larry, however, is mammoth & tips the scales at a solid 16 pounds. He’s also very tall, & I was concerned about the size of the opening in the door of the cabinet. Could Larry fold himself in there to use the box? Shockingly, yes. Can Larry keep the pee inside the box? Sadly, no. I’ve had this cabinet for 5 days, & we’ve had 2 accidents. It didn’t warp the cabinet, but I know Larry will not pee anywhere but the front of the box. I think this cabinet & the box that fits inside is just too small for him & his lake-sized bladder. In short, if you’ve made it this far into reading this, I would recommend this cabinet if you have average sized cat or kittens. But if you live with a house tiger, it might not work.
Looked really good until my cat peed all over it
This is a nice looking litter box cover that came together easily and is fairly sturdy. However, for my almost senior cat with kidney disease who can't see very well, it was a fail. She somehow manages to pee on the door 50% of the time and due to it being made of fiberboard it gets soaked and smelly. The white covering is now totally peeled off and the brown fiberboard has swelled and is visible. If you have a cat that doesn't miss, it would probably be fine.
It is amazing
Our cat used it right away. We were worried he wouldnt want to enter but had no problems. The size of the box is good.
