Is it safe for my cat to groom himself in the 30 minutes between applying it and brushing him?

This spray is made with non-toxic ingredients and is safe for use when used as directed. It is safe for a pet to groom themselves after application however, please deter your pet from doing so for as long as possible to ensure the spray is absorbed and effective.

Does this make the animals fur oily?

Not for my guy!

My 11 yr old kitty sheds all year long and suffers from hairballs. Based on the reviews, I gave this a try and we both hated it. I couldn't deter him from going

My 11 yr old kitty sheds all year long and suffers from hairballs. Based on the reviews, I gave this a try and we both hated it. I couldn't deter him from going into hyper grooming mode (and ingesting more fur). I even tried using a rigid cone on him. But eventually once removed he would go into action. I can't say I blame him. The coating it left on his fur made it feel as though he needed a shampoo. And the "fragrance" part was not so nice either. I tried it only a few times. I'm going back to the NHV Coco Furcare spray which actually freshens his coat and which he doesn't seem to mind at all. And it actually smells nice to boot.

smells good helps soothe skin

I got this originally as something to do in between baths. One of my boys was pulling at his fur and over grooming in a hot spot and the other one has dander like

I got this originally as something to do in between baths. One of my boys was pulling at his fur and over grooming in a hot spot and the other one has dander like you wouldn’t imagine. It’s a process but this helped tremendously in the meantime. It smells very good and you can feel the difference in the coat . Lolos hair is growing back slowly. But I’m definitely noticing an improvement. Would recommend he was going at the hot spot a lot less in comparison to when we didn’t have it. Helped pull lose due too.

My little Chihuahua Coco has been shedding badly. I ordered a bottle of Ark Naturals Don't Shed on Me on the off chance it might work. Imagine my surprise to find out that it works as promised. The first treatment when I went to massage the product in as directed there was a lot of hair on my hands. The next treatment not so much and now she is hardly shedding at all. I highly recommend the product to anyone who has a dog that sheds.
