Is this a pan/tilt camera?

This camera does not have pan/tilt functionality. It is a fixed camera with a field of view of 130 degrees, which allows it to cover a wide area without the need for mechanical movement.

Do I need a subscription for basic use?

This camera may be used without a subscription. You'll still be able to view the live feed from the camera at any time and two-way talk. Additional features will require a subscription.

Outstanding Product

If you already have arlo cameras for your home (and have the subscription for them), this product is well worth the money. When you have the arm home/away functions

If you already have arlo cameras for your home (and have the subscription for them), this product is well worth the money. When you have the arm home/away functions enabled the privacy screen will automatically shut when you arrive home and open when you leave your home. Camera quality is great and captures great detail even in the dark! Would recommend this for any pet parent who wants to check in on their furry friends while not home!!

Easy to set up and use! The app is really intuitive and the picture is clear. We used this while on vacation to check on the kitties. I wasn’t sure what would be the difference between this and the treat cam we have, but one thing that sets it apart is that it doesn’t make a noise turning on, so you can spy on your cats without giving a treat every time. Would recommend setting one up for everyday check-ins anywhere you want to look for pets, wildlife or just keep an eye on your home.

Please tell me where to return this. I can’t get it set up. Too complicated. My son told me it has an app for my phone. It looks nice. Quality packaging. But not for me. Now I will tell you that we do have a 12 camera wired security system at the house that is displayed on 2 different monitoring locations in the house. It was also put on my phone iPads by a security person.
