Personal mountain
I was researching all sorts of cat trees to purchase for my one one-year-old cat. We do not have any elevated spaces in our home and I figured this would be good. As I looked I noticed chewy.com had a fantastic sale on this rather expensive model. I called in to make sure the purchase went through correctly. I was a first time customer so they offered me a great deal. It came fast from the manufacturer straight to our home in a labeled box. It took 40 minutes to put together. My cat was beside me the whole time playing with it as I was able to assemble it with the correct parts and no confusion alone. The first day the cat did climb on it a little bit. I noticed that even though the dimensions are kind of odd, it fit perfectly in front of one of my windows. The second day I came home and the cat was sleeping on one of the top pedestals that seem to be shaped perfectly for a cat in slumber. She plays on it daily and I encourage the play with interactive toys. She will climb up, fetch, and bring down. After some time she is now using the Sissel rope vertical columns to scratch. I do have several other scratching materials in my house, on the floor, and a vertical sisal scratcher, so she did not go right to them. The parts seem to be wrapped very well in carpet and any exposed wood is hardwood. One or two pieces or lesser quality wood, but they supply extra support for those pieces and they are completely wrapped in carpet. I do think that this is a fantastic cat tree. It is extremely stable! Even though my cat extraordinarily playful and young she does use the ramps to come down when we play with her. I also put toys all over it before we leave the home and I always find them in different places on the cat tree or scattered around the house. I 100% recommend this if you can afford it. I also recommend shopping around with this brand and calling directly to wherever you purchase to get a deal. I paid less than retail and you should too .
great cat perch - even for 18 lb cat
This is my second cat tree like this. I am replacing because my cat tree is several years old and has been well loved. I have an 18 pound cat & a couple of 13 pound cats. The tallest cat perch is sturdy enough for the 18 pound cat. I highly recommend this one.
good product
Sturdy, attractive, easy to assemble. The shelves, condos, nests are all good-sized. The cats love it. This is my 2nd Armarkat tree and I think they are great. I was hesitant to get the faux fur covering after reading some negative comments about it (my other tree is faux fleece) but I think it's fine...nice and soft. I didn't attach the toys as I don't let my cats have string/elastic but I cut the toys from the string and they play with the toys that way. Very happy with my purchase.
Two large cats are very happy w/this!
My two very large cats (one of them a male Maine Coon) had outgrown and torn apart their old cat tree, so we choose this as the upgraded replacement. It took them a few days to learn to navigate all the new platforms. My Maine Coon was a little clumsy with them at first due to his large backside. But they both love it! And it didn't take long before they were both leaping and playing with each other all over the tree like youngsters. They also love to sleep in the roomy condos. It's hard to find condos big enough for large cats, but these are. The platforms at the top could be a tiny bit bigger, but neither cat seems to mind and they both sleep up there too. It's sturdy and has never threatened to tip, even with all their wild shenanigans. I am happy!
My babies love it!
As soon as we opened the box the kitties swarmed! While putting it up they were all over it & since it’s been finished they can’t get enough! Plenty of room for my 4 kittens & 2 cats, 1 of which is a big big boy & fits on the landings & in cubbies with no problem. Seems sturdy! Only complaint is the little ball attachments are on flimsy string & they ripped them down within a few minutes. I replaced them with sturdier teasers & all is well!
Good quality, good price.
This is not our first Armarkat purchase. Our cat trees get a lot of use and need to be replaced after years of use. Our cats were on it while my husband was still assembling it! Many sizes and colors to choose from. This is our first faux fur one.
Worst POS ever
This thing is worse then just saying "flimsy", wobbly, the boards you are supposed to put the screws in fall apart, once you try and fix all the cheesy stuff on your own, it still sways because the bases are weak and flimsy at best. AWFUL and hate it, but it fell apart too much to return it. Very unhappy but will never, ever buy online again so I can see product.
Good for the price
My two cats love it. This stops them from any scratching of furnitures. The tree is sturdy for the price. And the clolor is pretty. Would be perfect if it is covered by carpet instead

All five of our cats enjoy this tree very much - in fact, three of them were 'helping' my husband to build it. It went together very easily and is a nice addition to our living room.

We have a pretty big cat and most of the cat trees are small for him. But this one is really good. He just loves it!
