It's a no from my cat

My baby loves to "bonk" and rub on every wall, corner, piece of furniture and especially every human in our house, so I thought she would take to it instantly. Despite putting her favorite brand of catnip inside, she's ignored it other than when I first put it up. I saw her try it a few times the first day, but she backed away quickly... the teeth on it are too stiff and sharp. They don't flex like a slicker brush would or have any kind of rubber tip or something on the end that would make them less abrasive. Mine stuck on the wall perfectly, but it just wasn't a win for my girl.

Would be great if it stayed on the wall!

My two fluffy cats love rubbing on corners to the point where all the corners in our home have grimy little stains on the walls right at kitty height. When I saw this I knew they would love it. They were SO excited when I put it up and they rubbed on it for a few minutes until it fell down and scared them pretty badly in the process. I tried to stick it back up and it fell again as soon as they tried to use it. A few days later I tried again using several Command strips instead to try to get a better adherence to the wall and STILL no luck! Only a smaller section of the back is shaped to stick directly to the wall, with edges around the top and bottom floating away from the wall edge. I think this is the problem, because the cats really love to push up at it from an angle or rub down on it, and these unsecured edges are vulnerable when the cat isn't applying pressure evenly to the most secure part of the brush. I can't figure out any way to rig this up so they can continue to use it. So sad and disappointing!!

My cats freakin' love this thing.

This was a hit as soon as I took it out of the box. I haven't had any issues with the included tape. It stuck right onto the wall. It's been a month and it's still holding strong, even after two kitties have rubbed all over it. The gray part comes off for easy hair removal/cleaning, and I can put extra catnip in there when needed. Definitely recommend!

Should come in pairs

My cat loves this. It was hard for me to find a spot out of public view but found a corner in the closet. The self stick tape came loose right away. Looks like I’m going to have to use the screws.

It has potential

3 of my cats checked it out by rubbing up against it , combing their cheeks, An hour later I walked by it to find it in the floor- the tap did not hold it very good . But they did seem to keep me it on the door.

If your cat loves to rub on hard things, GET this!

My 15-yr-old cat has always loved to rub her face and head on hard corners. She's also always loved stiff-bristled brushes, and has a thing for the smell of plastic (she likes to lick it). As soon as I saw this, I knew she would love it, and boy, does she! There are holes at the top on each side where you can pour in some catnip (which they provide). Keep the catnip level below the open slots on each side, and your cat will be able to smell the catnip inside. Installation is quick and easy. You should be aware, however, that the bristles of the brush are VERY hard and stiff.

Clunky and hard

The nubs are hard plastic and very far apart. It has channels for holding catnip to induce your cat to rub against it. My cat managed to knock it off the laundry table leg (it has sticky pads for attaching) and was gnawing on the plastic spines. The tape wouldn’t stick again so I just tossed it in the trash.

Simple and Effective

All of my cats love this brush so much I had to buy a second one. The tape sticks nicely to the wall and I had no issues with removal when I switched locations. You really can't beat this for the price.

Get your own double stick pads

My cat loves this and uses it daily, but the sticky pads it comes with will not hold it well, so I added my own double stick tape and it works much better now. I think a command strip would work well if you have it.

Will update soon.

I haven't been able to install this on a table leg yet but I've used it to brush the cats and they seemed to like it when I brushed them. But we'll have to wait and see how they like to groom themselves. I was disappointed in how tiny the tape was that I'm supposed to hang it with. I may have to use something different.
