Both of my cats lose their freaking minds over these little plastic springs. Sure, they get caught under furniture a bunch, but that can become a fun puzzle for the boys to figure out (I still do my fair share of fishing them out from under the couch and such). It's ridiculous how excited they get when I pick one up and scrunch it a few times! These little toys provide them with long-lasting entertainment, which is extremely useful when I am too busy to do as much interactive play with them as I want.
Zeke LOVES these!
on Jun 3, 2021
We call these springs "Twizzlers" in our house, and our cat Zeke is OBSESSED with them! Not only does Zeke love for us to bounce the springs across the bed or floor so he can play fetch with us, but he also has the habit of batting them under the refrigerator like he's scoring in a hockey game. So be prepared to purchase, and continue to have multiple packages of these on hand. PLUS plan to spend much of your time on the floor fishing them out from under your refrigerator with a yardstick.
Fine but don't have the bounce of wider/thinner springs
on May 29, 2021
The cat we adopted arrived with two plastic springs he loved more than anything. He played with them all day. He managed to chew one in half so we ordered these, but he just doesn't care for them as much. He likes kicking them around but they don't have the same bounce as the wider ones so he gets bored after just a few minutes. Will have to order wider springs from somewhere else.
These are GREAT!!!

My kitten and my daughter's cat both LOVE these springs. I thought they'd get tired of them but they're still going strong playing with them many months later. As another reviewer pointed out, be sure to keep plenty on hand for when they roll under the refrigerator or furniture. Good bang for your buck.
My cat loves these!!!

These springs are my cat's favorite toy! She loves batting them around the house, they roll all different directions, she can easily fling them in the air, pounce on them, and they don't get damaged! Who would have thought that the cheapest, simplest toy would turn out to be the best!
Something about these...
on May 3, 2021
I have no idea what about the shape or movement of these things appeals to my girls so much, but it's the only toy of theirs that they will actually play *fetch* with me for. They're excellent for self play since the springs have a tendency to get loosely "caught" (not enough to hurt them) on their claws and go flinging off, causing a chase. Because of that, I would recommend not using these in a room with anything particularly fragile. My girls are unusually mindful of not knocking our things over, and yet I've lost a good few mugs and plants to these little things. Well worth it, though!
Endless hours of play and he started playing fetch
on May 16, 2021
My cat LOVES these so much and he even started playing fetch with them all on his own without any prompting or training (one day he kept walking up and dropping them at my feet, I threw it and he brought it right back, now we play this way every day). My cat loves both playing with them with us and he can also entertain himself endlessly with them, but be warned if you don't have carpet you'll here the sound of plastic bouncing against a hard floor constantly.
OBSESSED with these

Soba can't get enough of these little springs. They have usurped zip ties as his favorite toy, which is great because now it looks like I just have cat toys strewn about and not like I'm just throwing trash around. (even though he'd love that) These are also the only toy that he will play fetch with.
Addictive for Kitties
on Jun 8, 2021
When the rescue told me about the cat springs, I thought "Okay, maybe", but they really are the BEST and FAVORITE toy that the cats get. They carry them around, pounce on them, and toss them in the air. I keep having to buy more packs, because they keep stashing them away somewhere.
Fun but hurtful
on Jun 5, 2021
If your cat only likes to chase them, not chew, then these might be fine. However, the edges of the spring at the end are very sharp, so my cat has poked herself in her mouth and even on her paw when trying to chew on it. So, if your cat will only chase them, they would be okay, but chewing will be a no go.
