Might seem like a weird question I know I should be feeding my almost 3 month kitty kitten wet food but can't find many that say kitten other then these but I. worried about giving her milk as I have seen that it could be bad for cats so should I or should I not give her this? what do you recommend?

Answer by Md5406Jul 29, 2021
Cats are lactose intolerant. That's why they can't have milk. But they can have milk proteins. My opinion is that the amount of milk in this is negligible and my 18 yr old girl is thriving off it (vet recommended kitten wet food for the extra calories). She has never showed signs of stomach upset or being gassy with this food (common lactose intolerance symptoms). After having her on this she is acting like herself again. If your kitty develops lactose intolerance symptoms after ingesting this then you may wish to find something else. If you are worried about getting it and the kitten not liking it. Buy 1 to 3 cans from a local store and see how they do. That way you won't be out that much money if it doesn't work for her. If it works then YAY, autoship here you come! Best of luck and I hope my answer helped you out

I have a VERY finicky kitty with a sensitive tummy. He is a 13 year old tabby. Is kitten food safe for him? Thank you very much. I’m at my wit’s end trying to find wet, easy to chew food for my special boy.

Answer by ChewyNov 21, 2019
This formula is specially crafted to support growing kittens. It won't harm the adult or senior cat to eat kitten food, other than consuming the extra calories.

At what age, should you switch your kitten from this to regular FF cat cans? Thank you!

Answer by ChewySep 14, 2019
In general, a kitten is considered an adult cat when it reaches 1 year of age, but your cat may not actually be fully grown at this point. Kittens typically reach a length and weight close to their full-grown size by 9 to 12 months of age.

How old does my kitten half to be to eat this

Answer by ChewyJun 27, 2019
This food is suitable for kittens of all ages as long as they can eat solid food.

For a Very Malnourished Adult Rescue Cat...

despite being severely undernourished/weight, thad didn't take to a lot of canned foods. this one, gratefully, he did. unfortunately, bc to his list of ailments we discovered he has hyperthyroidism, we had to remove food with fish content...which is everything (even that labeled as poultry). our other cats are enjoying these meals as treats (we're feeding thad fancy feast gems), but as soon as they've consumed the contents, we're sticking to poultry only for every one of them.

Chewy needs to put a label on the boxes to not drop the box or fragile. Fed Ex don't give a care-they just deliver it and oh well if the items are damaged.

My kitties seem to prefer this, at least until they don’t. Such discerning eaters. They love the creamy texture. The only down side is that there always seems to be a flavor they won’t eat (salmon, in this case), but I am able to pass it on to our local Humane Society. It’s good to try different flavors, though, because the kitties always surprise me.

Found six kittens outside

I've been feeding a stray and found out she gave birth to 7 kittens. I managed to save 6, the other was never found. Mom also has disappeared. First time caring

I've been feeding a stray and found out she gave birth to 7 kittens. I managed to save 6, the other was never found. Mom also has disappeared. First time caring for kittens. To be honest, I bought this food because it was affordable. They seem to love it. They arr able to eat it without any issues. I was worried they'd have some diarrhea coming from nursing to solid food but they are processing it perfectly fine. Im glad I bought them this. When I open the can they come slowly walking because they are still getting use to their new environment. One I walk away they hurry to the dish and eat. Will definitely buy again......until I have to give them to a rescue.

This cat has a cleft palate and is a picky eater. I rotate about three types of canned food and this is one of them. I have to prepare his food in little scoops so he can swallow them without going up into his palate. So I chill it and it scoops nicely and he likes it. I feel the kitten food is extra nutritious for a sickly cat.

I’m not sure if I received a different batch, but unlike other reviews describing it as creamy and rich, most of the pate was spongy and dry. Even after mixing in liquid, the texture was still odd, and the cats wouldn’t go near the food.

Careless mistakes

I just adopted 2 kittens. Since they are so young, I decided to have their kitten food auto-shipped. 1st order, the wrong product was sent & the delivery company left the package outside my building (instead of bringing it to my door). Customer service was very helpful with re-sending the correct item, at no cost to me. Biggest issue is the delivery service that chewy uses. My packages are constantly left outside my building, instead of being brought to my door.

Bought for a friend of mine who just trapped and had 18 cats/kittens fixed and has them in her home socializing them for adoption. Since I can't foster due to having 5 cats and working 2 hour days, the least I could do is help with food. It takes a village

Miss Mouse unfortunately is not a fan of pate but it was not a problem as I take food to our local cat shelter where we were fortunate to adopt her! I volunteered

Miss Mouse unfortunately is not a fan of pate but it was not a problem as I take food to our local cat shelter where we were fortunate to adopt her! I volunteered for several years at GVAWL (Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League) until I had 3 small strokes. I hope to return in the Spring!

Good Product

My kittens are very picky about what they eat. When they get tired of eating Fancy Feast, I will switch it up and purchase a different brand with similar ingredients
