are the posts made of wood or cardboard? my cats are very large upwards of 15 lbs and every tree with cardboard posts I've had has failed to support the weight of my monster cats.

Absolutely perfect
This cat tree has become my cat's (Unagi) absolutely favorite spot in the house. It gives him more options to sleep comfortably, and a way to let out his zoomies. He took to it immediately and loves to climb the poles and stairs. I was worried after installing the whole thing, that my cat would hit his head on the ceiling. But the top has become my cat's favorite place to sleep or jump to when he has the zoomies.
Poorly made
I got it in July and 4 months later it looks like it was heavily abused by 30 cats. My cats barely use it and one shelf is broken, the carpet is cheaply made. I wish I could never buy it
