My cats love it but I had to get some brackets to hold the two sides together and it's advertised as being real wood is false it made of partical board (sawdust and glue)not wood. But it should hold up as long as it doesn't get wet. The other issue is the flimsy cloth lining , it needs to be carpet. The overall product was cheap quality at a high price tag.

We have 8 cats including 3 large males. This cat tree is sturdy & has room for everyone. It also looks nice in our living room.

Pros: It's pretty tall. The bittom half is pretty sturdy. The cubbies are a larger size than many other cat trees/condos. The kitties seem to like it once they warmed up to it. Cons: It's pricey. I'm on the fence about if it's a value. First I would like to address the description in the heading "real wood" refers to the chipped pressed wood chips that compose the main "wood" platforms. The pillars are made of a thick plastic which is wrapped in a coarse rope. The platforms are covered in a thin faux fur, which is stapled down to the wood. The fabric does NOT cover the entire inside of the cubby boxes. Depending on what angle you are looking at it from, you can easily see the chipped wood. Top pillars and platforms have a little play or wobble when cats jump on them. The height of top pillars were a little intimidating at first for kitties. Suggestion to manufacturer: Add a forth pillar for stability. Add thicker, slightly larger platforms with a slightly taller lip. Lastly, fir this price (over $250) please cover the insides if the cubbies. It would add to the appeal if this item. I will update my review once it has been in use for awhile and we'll see how it holds up.
