I started using the Artisanal Paws Joint & Hip Daily Supplement Powder for my two senior male cats, and so far I’m very happy with it. My veterinarian reviewed the ingredients beforehand and confirmed they are safe for older cats — including those with aging kidneys — which gave me peace of mind. Both of my boys ate their food with the powder mixed in and didn’t seem to notice it at all. They consumed it easily with no fuss. It’s still early to know the long-term results, but the ingredients are clean and nothing concerning. Overall, this seems like a solid, gentle joint supplement that’s easy for cats to tolerate. No negatives so far, and I’m hopeful it will support their mobility as they age.

This product has all the necessary joint health supplements that are needed for cats. Glucosamine/Condroitin/Msm are all the ingredients that help keep joints lubricated

This product has all the necessary joint health supplements that are needed for cats. Glucosamine/Condroitin/Msm are all the ingredients that help keep joints lubricated. No need to wait u til your cat shows signs of arthritis as using this product will help BEFORE this is an issue. My vet has always recommended these particular supplements for my senior cats. I mix into their wet food & they don’t seem to notice which is comforting.

Writing this review is a bit bittersweet because the kitty we ordered this for we had to say goodbye to just days after receiving this product. So sadly, based on timing, we weren't really in a position to check how effective it might be with the feline who needed it. But as we still have several wonderful cats sharing our home and life, we went ahead and tested this on several of them, to make sure that they would accept it being mixed in their wet food as well as checking for any sort of stomach upset, etc. I'm glad to report that everyone we tried it with ate it without any issues. The ingredient list itself, based on my human perspective, is great. It smells very neutral, which is wonderful for picky felines. And the powder is very fine, no clumps at all, which also means it's very easy to measure. We keep a water bottle next to their feeding station and it's an easy thing to scoop out the proper amount, give it a couple of water spritzes, and mix it in.

Our senior cat had no problem eating it. I think its a little early to determine if it will help but since he enjoys his food with it we will continue to use it.

We have a 10, almost 11, year old cat. We've been a little concerned about how well his is aging (and he is a bit on the heavier side). While it is hasn't been enough time for us to say for sure if it is helping him significantly or not, I can say that we appreciate the quality of product and our cat does enjoy the taste of this supplement. Granted, he's not the pickiest eater, but he definitely notices when his food is different. If he noticed, he didn't care, which is good news to us. I will try to update this review if we see anything in the future, but I'm optimistic that this is helping him.

Powder suggests mixing with wet food, but it mixed well with dry as well. Our cat didn’t have any problems with the texture/flavor. A more finicky feline might, it does have a smell. As for helping with joints, I noticed our senior cat jumping better after taking this supplement for a few days. I’m hoping with continued use there will be more improvement.

My cat is 19 years old and still lively. I feed him wet kidney food and prep about 5 cans in advance and store in the fridge to reduce the amount of work throughout the week. I tried mixing this powder in with his premade food, but it turned it watery for some reason. Now, I add it to his daily feeding dish and it works better. I can’t speak to how well this product supports his joints, but I can say he is more excited to eat and hasn’t shown any negative reactions to it. Over time we’ll see how well it supports his joints and hips.

My senior cat needs a joint supplement and this fit his needs. It's still to early to talk about the long lasting effects this has on his jounts as that takes about 6 weeks to see. But I can say that the switch to this was very easy and I don't see any issues. The powder is odorless and very fine so it mixes in undetected. The scoop makes this super easy to dose and it is very convenient to just scoop and mix vs having to open a capsule. My cat either doesn't notice the powder or he really loves the taste because he gobbles his wet food right up after I mix this into it. Love the jar size and love the cute scoop it comes with.
