Ashman Shepherd Hook Stand

The box in which our stand arrived had been used before. There was shipping tape around all the edges and multiple holes in the box. The top (the hook) had broken through the package and over a foot of the object was outside the box. It is difficult to determine if the top hook section was bent in shipment, although the paint was scraped in a few places. The design of the hook was poor in that the center of gravity of the hook was not above or on the balancing side of the loop section. I have built a mounting mechanism to keep the hook from falling over. Last, although I selected PayPal to make my payment I went through an online "credit/identification" sort of review to determine if I was qualified to become a customer. I've never experiences this sort of interrogation before.
