On first looks this is a gorgeous leash, but the leather wrapping the binding is only held on by one stitch. The very first time my dog tugged on the leash (less than 5 minutes into our walk) the stitch at the handle I was holding snapped, revealing only marginally better attachments actually holding the ropes together. This might be a decent leash for a small dog, but it was no match for my 50lb lab mix. It's a real shame because we were very excited about the padded double handles!

I love this leash! The handle that’s closest to the dog is further up the leash and allows you more control over dogs that pull without stepping on them. Many of the other two handle leashes have the handle 12” from the dog. This one gives you more room, about 18”. Love it!

The latch great but handles are not strong enough xl dog

I do not believe it is strong enought for 100 plus lbs dogs due to handle construction thread loose enough to pull apart. And not much strength in the bonded areas

I do not believe it is strong enought for 100 plus lbs dogs due to handle construction thread loose enough to pull apart. And not much strength in the bonded areas. Joint cover are made thin fabric not rubber or heated bonded plastic. This is ok for smaller to medium dogs. My dogs are 150 lbs. I need to return can not walk my reactive dog with this lead and be confident it will hold up.
