Not up to expectation

I know the Lesser Goldfinch are picky eaters so I went with this brand because I thought it would be up to par. Only 1 finch visited briefly, not even the House

The Nyjer was very dry. .

I will avoid buying this brand again. When I poured it into the feeder dust flew in the air. Birds prefer oil based nyjer.

Smells super fresh - better than the birding store

I tried Audubon Park nyjer seed because I suspected that my finches began rejecting a previous brand due to being stale. I opened the Audubon Park nyjer and it smells

Box too heavy

I had to roll the box into the house because it was too heavy to lift. By the time I got it in, it had started to come apart. No way could my wife have gotten it

Goldfinches Return

I was using some cheap seed from a discount store and the only birds eating it were the chickadees. Once I filled the feeder with this one the goldfinches returned

I was using some cheap seed from a discount store and the only birds eating it were the chickadees. Once I filled the feeder with this one the goldfinches returned to the feeder. I can only assume that they are selective about the quality of their seed.
