    Allergy food

    By on

My Great Danes have allergies with lots of skin issues. I am weaning one of them onto this food hoping it will be a win. So far he does not appear to have any issues however he is not fully eating only this food yet. He likes it however there is no taurine listed in the ingredients and that is a concern for long term DCM issues for a breed that is susceptible to DCM.

    Not a good selection

    By on

We love Avoderm, and have had no issues before switching flavors. We have one dog that is not eating well, and another with very soft/runny stools. Maybe it was this particular bag, but I don’t think we will get the beef again.

    Excellent Food

    By on

Have used this brand years ago on another pet and results were good. Decided to get this for my fussy husky. At first she looked and walked away but after a few minutes she went back to her bowel and to my surprise the bowel was emptied. I know that her coat will get soft and beautiful the longer she eats this and this is a very high quality food. The size of the nuggets are just right and she does seem happy with it. Hopefully she will keep eating this food for years to come.

I’m sure it’s a fine dog food, but my 2 yr old pup didn’t like it.
