My Penny looked at these teensy pellets, sniffed them, licked a couple and then walked away, giving me the look of death as she exited from her feeding table. I then was determined she should at least try them, so I broke up some of her freeze dried Venison treats and tossed it throughout the pellets. Penny came back to her dishes; she’ll never miss out on another possible “treat”, so she nibbled at the stuff in the dish. When I looked to see how much of the food she’d eaten, I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe! She’d basically, very daintily, extracted all the tiny bits of the crumbled venison and left all the teensy kibble of her food! She’s not eating it. I’m guessing, it has no flavour, no good smells to her and she’s not happy with those teensy pellets. Perhaps a water fowl, raccoon or some other type bird might appreciate this AvoDerm Duck & Turkey Meal Dry Cat Food. Maybe the iguanas might like it? All of you do as you wish; after speaking with our vet, I’m going back to feeding Penny her favorite kibble. Fancy Feast, for my “Fancy” Princess Penny!

IBS cat loves it

This is one of the few dry foods that my 12 year old IBS cat will eat. My other 3 cats with sensitive stomachs like it too. It must be the duck.

After finding out my cat was allergic to chicken and was going bald. I was told to find food without any chicken. Once I began feeding my cat AvoDerm her hair grew back - she stopped obsessive licking and has not had any more issues with hair loss. My cats are finicky with most foods and will not touch human foods. They LOVE this brand. Please bring it back!!!

I used to buy this brand. Since the ingredients looked healthy I decided to give it a try again. Unfortunately none of my cats touched it which is unusual. Most of my kitties are not picky with dry food. Food was not expired but when I opened it, it smelled staled. I liked this brand before. Hopefully it was just a bad luck.
