They smell fine, my Anya is just picky I think.
Anya wouldn't touch them. But she's never been one apparently for crunchy. Still I try, because I'd rather carry a small bag of dry treats in my purse than chewy

Misleading Product Label
I am really disappointed in this brand, and my chihuahuas and Boston terrier won't touch them. I purchased an Awesome Possum brand of treats from New Zealand at
I am really disappointed in this brand, and my chihuahuas and Boston terrier won't touch them. I purchased an Awesome Possum brand of treats from New Zealand at a Denver pet store a couple of years ago. My single Chihuahua, as well as the cats and my daughter's chihuahua ,went nuts for them. They were a big favorite but then they disappeared from the market. Now these treats appear with same name , from New Zealand, but they are sure different. My son's huskie turns up his nose at them, too.Wonder if the old, delicious favorite Awesome Possum will ever re-appear??

So! I got these in lieu of the now discontinued Paw Pies. We were a little skeptical at first, she sniffed and left them alone. They're not soft soft, more of like
So! I got these in lieu of the now discontinued Paw Pies. We were a little skeptical at first, she sniffed and left them alone. They're not soft soft, more of like a shredded compact jerky, but very easy to break up! I tried again by breaking some up into her food and she ate them! I tried again by giving her a whole one and she got some confidence to chew it up and enjoy ! Shes a senior dog with bad teeth, but she was able to break it down easily, but the treats themselves are also easy to break apart by (I used my teeth I dont mind) cutting in half with something sharp , from there it's easy to break by hand. So this picky gal did end up liking them a lot I think we found a great replacement for her prized discontinued paw Pies!
