Cat eats too fast
My cat eats wet pate. Spacings between ridges were too tight (spiral & sun rays sides) for cat to get all of her food, although it did slow her eating speed. Spacing

Durable and Cute
Cheaper silicone mats end up breaking and shedding pieces (that my dog would eat!) This brand is very durable and doesn’t break off. Plus, it’s cute!

i really like this! it’s high quality and it has suction cups on the bottom which is nice. my only qualm is that the sides are uneven- 2 sections have higher walls
i really like this! it’s high quality and it has suction cups on the bottom which is nice. my only qualm is that the sides are uneven- 2 sections have higher walls than the others, so the outside edge is uneven too. i wish the outside was all tall so it was a little more bowl like, but it isn’t a big problem

I did find the suction cups a bit annoying as they stuck to the area I was using to apply the food to this plate. I do not really need them. However, someone else might need them. They work great.
Definitely helps her slow down

Teddy is 6 lbs and a picky eater. We finally found a food she loves but because she loves it so much she ate so fast she would end up throwing up. Putting a tennis ball in her plate was not going to work because her plate is so small. This slow feeder not only helps her slow down it stimulates her mind. She loves taking her kibble from the ridges. If we just put it on the plate she does not love it as much as taking it out of the puzzle.

The cat I bought this for does not like it... luckily, my other cat does! He eats everything off the shallow quadrants first and then goes for the deeper sections
The cat I bought this for does not like it... luckily, my other cat does! He eats everything off the shallow quadrants first and then goes for the deeper sections. The mat is soft enough that he can easily squish his face into the grooves and get all the kibble. I have not tried wet food with the mat so far, only dry, but it's been great. Even on a surface that it can't suction to (carpet), it doesn't flip over or move very much. Fingers crossed my fast eater starts liking it too!
