If your dog is new to an air-dried diet, their body may need a little time to adjust to the dense nutritional content of Superfood Complete (especially if your dog is small). We recommend starting slow to avoid overwhelming your dog with too many new nutrients at once. Begin by replacing just 25% of your dog’s food with Superfood Complete for the first meal. Gradually increase the amount of Superfood Complete in each meal for about 10 days, until you’ve reached 100% Superfood Complete. If you prefer, you can also boost your pet's meal by using a small amount of Superfood Complete as a topper on wet or dry meals.

Superfood Complete does not require refrigeration, heat, or water. Simply measure the suggested serving size based on your dog’s weight, pour it into their bowl… and watch them enjoy!

High-heat cooking can add unhealthy by-products to your dog’s food, potentially leading to joint, energy, and digestion issues over time. Superfood Complete is air-dried using our “low and slow” cooking method to provide the convenience of kibble with the health benefits of whole foods.

We recommend feeding Badlands Ranch Superfoods food to your pet within a few minutes of hydrating the food. However, once water is added to Superfood Complete, the hydrated food should be kept refrigerated for 2-3 days.

Badlands Ranch's GPM-certified manufacturing facility uses an expansive Food Safety Plan and has successfully been audited by the FDA. The manufacturing plant is also GFSI-BRC certified which involves annual food safety audits by a 3rd party. The manufacturing process includes High-Pressure Processing (HPP) to eliminate pathogens and each lot is tested for Ecoli, Listeria, and Salmonella and only released by the Quality Team for shipping. In addition, we utilize an extensive Environmental Monitoring Program with over 50 swabs taken weekly to ensure a hygienic processing facility is maintained.
