I adopted 2 adult short hair cats and I went looking online for suggestions about brushes for cats whose coats are in good condition - no mats or knots. Even though this is labeled a dog brush people were finding their cats liked it. My cats love it. It's gentle but effective, it's easy to remove the fur from the brush, and its washable. Olive gets excited every time I sit down on my living room couch because that's where I brush her. If only she enjoyed nail clipping as much!

Soft brush, doesn’t collect hair

The Bailey Brush Dog Brush is a soft brush that my dog seems to not mind but my dog is a shedder and as you can see from the photo, it doesn’t “collect” the hair

The Bailey Brush Dog Brush is a soft brush that my dog seems to not mind but my dog is a shedder and as you can see from the photo, it doesn’t “collect” the hair so it just kept piling up or began floating around the several times I used it. I believe this would be a better brushed used during bath time but since it’s so it’s cold out I couldn’t test it. I do like the flexibility of it to go with my dogs body shape and the softness of the silicone.

This brush is nothing short of miraculous! As the family of a Klee Kai, we have tried about a million brushes. Admittedly, this one isn’t the most efficient, but my dog will also tolerate it for more than three strokes (which is all I get out of the other brushes unless bribery is involved). With this brush, she comes running when I pick it up! And I don’t have to worry about sharp bits if she’s wiggling around trying to get me to the spot she wants, because there aren’t any sharp bits! 10/10 from us.

This is one powerful little brush! I was amazing at how much hair it's able to loosen up and it was far more comfortable for stripping their coats than a Furminator

This is one powerful little brush! I was amazing at how much hair it's able to loosen up and it was far more comfortable for stripping their coats than a Furminator because it didn't pull or snag. The dogs and cats enjoyed it! The size is great because it fits security in the palm of your hand. Not only did it help with shedding, but the dogs in particular seemed to think it was a massage! Excellent product.

My dog never let's me use brushes on her and she actually enjoys getting brushed by this! She's part husky so I was looking for some way to brush her and this is great. It gets a good amount of fur out, it's a great way to bond with her and I can see using this in baths too. I would highly recommend this brush, I'm just so excited we finally found something after 6 years!!

This brush does remove the hair from the dog VERY well. However, there’s not a great way to get the hair off the brush. It’s silicone so it’s rather sticky, so

This brush does remove the hair from the dog VERY well. However, there’s not a great way to get the hair off the brush. It’s silicone so it’s rather sticky, so the fur sticks. Trying to pluck it off isn’t easy. Rinsing with water works ok, but then all the hair is in the sink.

I did try this on my cat. She was not amused. However, my doggo loved it. Works great to get the lose fur out. The fur sticks well to the brush, but you can't have a lot of fur on the brush itself. Make sure to clean the brush after a few strokes. Not a huge fan of the color yellow, but that isn't a deal breaker.
