How often does it need to be removed and does it need to slide over the paw?

Wear the brace for 30 minutes a day, increasing 30 minutes each day after that, for up to 12 hours. Consult your veterinarian for specific instructions on when, and for how long, your pet should wear the brace. The brace should not be worn while your dog is sleeping, crated, or unsupervised for any amount of time. The brace can be loosened and easily slid over the paw or it can be completely unattached and wrapped around the fractured area.

Bracing and size

Perfect purchase for dog needing support. Our husky was attacked and suffered an ulna fracture. Needed a device to help us get her moving. Also allows for airflow
