Answer by • Jan 30, 2023
This knee brace does not require a harness or collar to work the straps are adjustable and can be adjusted in different postions.
What are the measurements for the sizes I don't see a size chart

Can you add a brace for the other knee if needed?
Answer by • Sep 12, 2025
Per the manufacturer, it's safe to place a brace on each knee if your dog needs support on each side. Bracing both knees is an excellent way to support a second injured knee, or to support the healthy one that is bearing additional stress while the injured knee heals.
If you purchase a left and a right, what else is needed to hook them to one back strap?
Answer by • Dec 23, 2025
A left and right brace are not designed to hook to one another. The Balto Dual Knee Brace is recommended instead.

My pup tore her CCL and I was going to do medical management of her injury instead of surgery. Got this brace hoping to help her. It is complicated to get on for sure. Having the help of an extra person does help the process. This seemed sturdy and very good at immobilizing the knee. Definitely need the strap that goes around a collar or harness to the end of the brace to help it stay in place. Unfortunately I opted for surgery and didn't need this brace.
Note: You do have to be careful. Anything like this left on your pup for long periods of time will eventually cause horrible wounds on the skin. This would be a perfect brace to use on walks. I would use a simple one for around the house.

Looks were deceiving.
The design appeared to just what we needed, however, it was very difficult to put on our dog, adjust and keep it in place. I would not recommend it.

An opportunity to avoid surgery.
This is working great and allowing her to bear weight on that knee to maintain muscle while giving it the support needed to let it heal.

This is working great and allowing her to bear weight on that knee to maintain muscle while giving it the support needed to let it heal.
FYI: It stays on my female dog better using the male dog set up which uses the opposite leg as an anchor instead of her waist which just allowed the brace to twist inward an made it more awkward to walk in for her.

It works
I love this thing and I hate this thing. My puppy broke her knee and has to wear this for 6 months. I hate that it rubs her hair off and rubs her skin raw in areas

I hate that it rubs her hair off and rubs her skin raw in areas if you don't keep a close eye on it. The big but is, it's really working and she's doesn't have to have the 3k surgery on her knee because of this brace!

Tiny little knee brace
Once I figured out how to put it on correctly it definitely gave her leg support. However, she was not a fan, everytime she'd see me get it, she'd try to hide.

Easy ordering....I was happy to see how quick the brace arrived.
The brace itself is perfect for my dog and does a great job of supporting his knee and leg, but the straps that keep it secured look like they would become uncomfortable
