It has a strong smell of licorice

If there is some kind of oil used in the manufacturing process, it should be included in the list of ingredients. I do not know about the safety of giving licorice

If there is some kind of oil used in the manufacturing process, it should be included in the list of ingredients. I do not know about the safety of giving licorice oil to chickens, so I cannot give this as a treat to the chickens everyday and I have to proceed with cautions. Some studies say licorice oils causes weight gain in broiler chickens, but I tread the chickens as pets and they are not meant to be broiler chickens.

My chickens love this. I don't feed them corn in the summer AZ is just too hot. This stuff even smells good, not stale like other brands. Will definitely purchase
