My 50lb Staffy/Pug mix Max is the ultimate toy-destroyer. If toys aren’t constructed well, he will get to the inner fluff and squeakers within 20 minutes. We never knew other dog owners weren’t buying new toys on a monthly basis lol. BarkBox has some VERY well made toys. We stick to this brand now because they are reliable, don’t rip quickly, squeakers last a long time despite constant use, and they are affordable. Max loves this shark. Very good for thrashing with the crinkles and 2x squeakers. Has lasted us 7 months+ now

Our pup LOVES his shark toy. It has a great squeaker and is a perfect size- he's a big dog (Great Pyrenees) but prefers mid-sized toys. He's very gentle with his toys and loves to carry them around and squeak them when he gets excited, and this one does not disappoint. The fins also have a crinkly sound, which he loves. As far as quality goes- so far so good. I can't say if this toy would hold up to dogs who are tougher on their toys, but for our gentle giant, this toy is perfect!

Mighty Little Shark

TLDR: Fun toy with decent durability, should be supervised play as super chewers can and will rip this thing to shreds. Little fish inside was far less durable and after it was out squeaker was easily removed. Pros: Cute! Main body has good stitching, and toy lasted a full day before the squeaker was removed and the toy totaled. Cons: The crinkle fins are not as well stitched or made with as durable fabric as the main body. The toy inside was less durable than the shark and added no additional play time. As soon as I opened the chewy box my GSD knew immediately that it was for her and pranced around me as I removed all of the tags and removed the toy from the packaging. From a human perspective the toy is very cute and I love the color and design. My dog crunched it twice, realized there was a squeaker and set her targeting scanners to DESTROY. She ran off to her bed and began to successfully and systematically remove all of the fins first. I highly recommend supervised play with this toy if your dog is like mine and rips into soft toys. This is because the crinkle fins contain the crinkly plastic which I had to remove and discard as she removed the fins to prevent ingestion. Since the fins were gone in under 30min I was worried that the toy would be totaled very quickly, but was pleasantly surprised that the main body stitching and construction meant that my dog had a much harder time getting it open to reach the enclosed squeaker. While the fish toy inside was not made with as durable fabric, its shape prevented easy removal from the main body cavity giving my dog more a brain workout than simply encosing the squeaker in the main body. Once she got the fish though (next morning) the squeaker was out in minutes. Good thing about most BARK toy squeakers is that they are larger and thicker than many squeakers so you have more time to go "oh she got it" and take it from your dog before they've chewed through the plastic and are trying to eat it. In summary, if you have a super destroyer this toy will be fun and last over an hour. If you have a regular or smaller dog this toy should last a while and make a good cuddle or fetch toy. My dog says thank you and could I have another please? Recommended purchase, size description is accurate.
