Appealing yet tough!

My chug is a very powerful chewer and destroys most squeaker toys within minutes even at 12 lbs! Bark toys are the only ones to survive so he loves them!

Great! Except . . .

My dog LOVES his Bark toys because they withstand his chewing! But when I received it, it smelled like it came from a heavy smoking home, and he couldn’t continue

My dog LOVES his Bark toys because they withstand his chewing! But when I received it, it smelled like it came from a heavy smoking home, and he couldn’t continue playing with it until I washed it. It kept getting more potent the more he played with it. Poor boy had to go an hour after getting his toy to play with it again! Chalking this up to a shipping issue, and not with the product. If you or your dog are sensitive to smells, smell the toy first and wash it if needed!

PERMANENT CIGARETTE SMELL

after removing this toy from it’s packaging I immediately realized there was a pungent and extremely strong oder of cigarettes coming from the toy. It smells like

after removing this toy from it’s packaging I immediately realized there was a pungent and extremely strong oder of cigarettes coming from the toy. It smells like someone smoked a pack of Marlboro Reds directly onto this thing. I have tried EVERYTHING to remove the smell: machine washing it, overnight soaking it in a tub with soap and scent remover, leaving it outside overnight..nothing has worked. The smell has remained so intense I have put it in two sealed ziplock bags. Looks like I’ll have to just throw this toy out because there is no way anyone would want it. Waste of money and really disappointed. Makes me wonder what the sanitary conditions are at the factory where this toy is produced.

Why I picked Bark Piper Parrot Hard Core Tough Dog Chew Toy out of all the toys that were offered to me was because I wanted to give it to my bird, Teddy. Teddy lost her mate last week and Bark Piper Parrot is the same color and size. Pipet Parrot could keep her company. When I put the toy in her cage, Teddy gave me kisses. All the surprises came before I gave Teddy Piper Parrot. I first tried Harlee, my dog. She surprised me because she never plays with toys! She played with Bark Piper Parrot. Then, I tried Domino, (my rabbit) Lucky,(my cat). They all were interested! Surprise! The features are what makes the toy so fascinating. It is safe, and very strong and durable. It's made of rubber. the color is nice and bright.and there is a toy inside.
