Not as big or tough as you think

When I first opened the box, I was surprised this toy was much smaller than I anticipated. Granted, I didn’t look for dimensions in the product description before

When I first opened the box, I was surprised this toy was much smaller than I anticipated. Granted, I didn’t look for dimensions in the product description before I purchased it. I ordered it based on the product pictures. Then after 10 minutes with the toy, my dog had destroyed the handle. I specifically told her she was to play with the flower end, I guess it’s true you can’t expect a puppy to listen (hahaha). But honestly, this just wasn’t tough enough for our girl. And, I had to throw it away while I was typing this review since she chewed the handle completely off.

This toy was such a fun attention getter for my dogs! They both loved the vanilla smell and couldn't get enough. My biggest concern was the size (and that was something I probably should have checked before I got it). I didn't want to leave my dogs with it for very long because it was pretty small and I didn't want it to become a choking hazard. The toy was a thick rubber which I think for smaller, not very chewy dogs would hold up well.

Finally, a toy my dog can sink his teeth in to!

Yay!!! My beagle mix is a pretty intense chewer. I waited for a week of consistent use before reviewing. He can NOT destroy this flower or rope. I am always skeptical

Yay!!! My beagle mix is a pretty intense chewer. I waited for a week of consistent use before reviewing. He can NOT destroy this flower or rope. I am always skeptical of "indestructible" or "extra tough" toys because my dog finds ways to shred them. (Finding the threads on stitches, anyone?) My dog is 16lbs, so I can't guarantee it's strong enough for larger dogs, but my beagle mix is VERY happy. Scent: the vanilla is very mild. I was expecting department store candle smell but it is totally the opposite!

It doesn’t just go straight in, but has a curve so the strap doest slide out as easily. I do wish the strap was a smidgen longer as my dog likes to hold the flower end and offer the strap to other dogs to pull on, but the strap is too short to get a good grip.
