I've been remodeling my home and I have lots of tools around. My pup carries his tape measure around the house, I swear he knows what it is. We've had it for about a month and it's still in 1 piece. He's a tough chewer and likes to shred. Most of his toys end up in a million pieces, but it's still going strong.

Very cute, now he leaves the real tape measure alone

Word to the wise; watch your shins because it's easy to fling wildly and it is heavy when he lets go. Very sturdy and my dog destroys most toys but this survived

Hopeful yet disappointed

Our dog is a tough chewer and we know this. I read the reviews and was hopeful that this toy would be a good fit for him. Unfortunately, he started tearing pieces

Unfortunately, he started tearing pieces off immediately and we had to confiscate it to avoid having him accidentally swallowing any of the pieces :( lasted about 5 minutes. 70 lb black lab

Main rubber part was too big and hard

My 30 lb dog had trouble holding onto the rubber, so wanted the webbing handle (supposedly my part). He ran off with it and had that webbing destroyed in 5 minutes

This Bark tape measure is super cute and way bigger than i expected. Im usually disappointed by the size of large dog toys, but im not afraid that my pitties will

This Bark tape measure is super cute and way bigger than i expected. Im usually disappointed by the size of large dog toys, but im not afraid that my pitties will choke on this one/swallow it whole. The rubber seems good quality & doesnt smell, and the nylon "tape" is super thick and seems durable. I did notice that shortly after giving my dogs this toy, there are pretty intense chew marks out of it, but nothing is breaking apart as of yet. No toy is indestructable, and i definitely have really tough chewers!

We got this toy during a kitchen renovation so it was very timely and very cute to see my dog proudly carrying around her measuring tape. She still insists on carrying

We got this toy during a kitchen renovation so it was very timely and very cute to see my dog proudly carrying around her measuring tape. She still insists on carrying it around everywhere. That being said, it is very heavy and she doesn't play with it too much, just carries it around. I wish the measuring tape could pull in/out but that might be asking for too much. I think it would be great for LARGE dogs and tough chewers because of the size/weight.
