This mat is designed with a gripper dot pattern to prevent dog bowls from sliding. It can be used on both carpets and hardwood floors.

Is this a non-slip mat? Can I cut it shorter?

The product is made of silicone which naturally produces plenty of friction on hard surfaces which prevents the mat from moving. In other words, the material itself is non-slip. Also, you can technically cut the feeding mat shorter but we wouldn't recommend it since it has a raised edge to catch water and liquids.

Good quality

This is exactly what I was looking for to contain my cats water bowls (that they like to “swim” in!) they trap any splashed water and also keep the bowls from sliding

Purchased navy. Nice color. It comes folded and has a crease that I’m hoping will disappear. Fits 3 dog bowls nicely.
