Are Barkworthies chews irradiated?

Barkworthies does not irradiate any of their treats or chews. Their treats and chews are baked in house in order to remove any bacteria. Their treats are subjected to rigorous quality assurance standards and safety tests.
What process does the treat go through to make it odor free?

All of Barkworthies bully sticks (naturally scented and odor free) are baked. As moisture is what causes bully sticks to have their distinct bully smell, they bake their odor free sticks at a lower temperature for a longer period of time to remove as much moisture as possible. Please note that because Barkworthies do not use any chemicals or preservatives to remove the odor, when your dog is chewing an odor free bully stick, their saliva will add some moisture back into the stick and will perk the scent back up. The smell can be reduced by airing out the sticks or keeping them in a cool controlled environment, such as the fridge or freezer.
