We would not recommend a person to sit on the top like a bench. The top can be used as a shelf to hold items.

Not quite what’s described

The build is missing a few important instructions and a few important holes where screws need to go. Also the dimensions are not what is originally described -

The build is missing a few important instructions and a few important holes where screws need to go. Also the dimensions are not what is originally described - the measurements listed take into account 2 inches of height provided by spacers at the base of the chest to keep it off the floor. When closed it does NOT fit a standard US large litter box. I had to special order one that will fit.

Disappointing

So first off, the instructions are terrible. Not only that, they miss an entire step which is installing the shelf on the inside. Then the height was not high enough

So first off, the instructions are terrible. Not only that, they miss an entire step which is installing the shelf on the inside. Then the height was not high enough for my cats to use the litterbox. Had to turn it into a makeshift cat hangout. Save your money and time.
