It's stainless steel!

My 65lb. GSP is staying out of the dish (majority of the time). He loves digging in his water dish and this one, he's tried a couple times, with not much success

My 65lb. GSP is staying out of the dish (majority of the time). He loves digging in his water dish and this one, he's tried a couple times, with not much success. The bowl is a perfect size to keep those huge paws out, especially when he tries to use them both for a quick splash.

Plastic connector to hose did not easily turn to even attach it to the hose end. Filled to overflowing and short of taking it apart and seeing if I could bend the connector there was no way to fix it. Picture shows some of the overflow. I shut it off at the house spigot and dumped some out as it was running over the edge. However much of the water in the photo was from the overflow before I dumped it.

hard to clean

The idea is good. Unfortunately due to temperatures in warmer climates the bowl quickly turns green and slimy in two days. It’s easy enough to wipe clean around

The idea is good. Unfortunately due to temperatures in warmer climates the bowl quickly turns green and slimy in two days. It’s easy enough to wipe clean around the edges on the exposed area, but you cannot get to the area where the float is to clean easily. Also, the water in our hose heats up so quickly just sitting there that when the dogs drink water, hot water comes into the bowl.

Great for Multiple Dogs

Used now for ~2weeks- so far it is great. Exactly as described and big enough to handle multiple large dogs. Only minor complaint is that the plastic inlet valve

Used now for ~2weeks- so far it is great. Exactly as described and big enough to handle multiple large dogs. Only minor complaint is that the plastic inlet valve leaks a little bit- I used some Teflon hose tape and it is fixed. Highly recommend for hot areas! I feel much better knowing the dogs have endless cool water if they were to get locked outside in the summer. I used flexible .5” hosing from the hardware store and a 90deg elbow to set the bowl higher which has worked well.

loving this dog watering bowl.

This is the BEST waterier ever. We bought one about 6 years ago. And now are replacing it with the same one. We live in a hard water area and the water has rusted

This is the BEST waterier ever. We bought one about 6 years ago. And now are replacing it with the same one. We live in a hard water area and the water has rusted the bowl. It still works great. Just don’t want my dog drinking out of a rusty bowl. So I ordered thus sane one again.

Don't waste your money

This waterer quit working in about 3 days. I removed the blue cover and the float was broken off. Complete waste of money.....
