It is very sturdy, nice looking, and fits in perfectly with my farmhouse look. The bowl inserts that came with it are not heavy enough to keep my enthusiastic lickers from flipping the bowl out when it is empty. Fortunately, the bowls they had already fit into the holes and work well.

They are made of a resin material that looks like real wood but you don't have to worry about them getting wet. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good way to feed 2 dogs together!
