The bed is supportive yet comfortable, and the orthopedic foam provides great cushioning...especially for a larger dog (but our smaller two dogs love it also). The bolster sides are a big hit and give our dog a sense of security while resting. The removable cover is easy to take off and wash, which is a huge plus, and it holds up well after cleaning. The grey color looks nice and blends seamlessly with our home. Overall, this bed is well-made, thoughtfully designed, and offers excellent comfort and support. Highly recommend for dogs who love to stretch out or curl up with head support.

Bad product twice

This bed had great reviews so we ordered it. When it arrived the foam insert was deformed. It comes folded in half in a vacuum sealed bag and when we opened it there

This bed had great reviews so we ordered it. When it arrived the foam insert was deformed. It comes folded in half in a vacuum sealed bag and when we opened it there continued to be a hard ridge down the middle where it was folded and the edges were so thin, half an inch thick, looked like an open book and binding. Does not look like the images at all. Our dog kept trying to dig to make it cozy but I’m worried sleeping on the hard ridge would cause him discomfort. We just assumed it was a bad product so chewy helped us get a replacement. It just arrived and it has the same deformity. I don’t leave poor reviews a lot, but I’m disappointed to go through this twice and the wasted product. Won’t be trying a third time.

New bed for Kolombo

The new bed was difficult for me to assemble because I have arthritis in my hands, however the assembly was a simple process, It was painful. Once I put it together

The new bed was difficult for me to assemble because I have arthritis in my hands, however the assembly was a simple process, It was painful. Once I put it together he refused to use it! I had to put his old bed on top of the new one and it took 2 days for him to accept the new bed. He is an old dog and this orthopedic bed gives him more comfort. He always slept with me on the bed but he cannot jump up anymore and I cannot lift him. We are both oldies and this purchase gives him a more comfortable place to rest.

Chewy has the best customer service ever. I ordered a large dog bed but when I looked at the dimensions I thought it was a medium. They replaced it. When I received the replacement, and really looked at the dimensions, I realized I thought I was getting the large extra. Definitely was my error. When I called to pay for the replacement they would not let me even though it was my error. They said it was the chewy way and they wanted me to be happy and then offered to refund the amount so I could purchase the one other one. I declined but was so amazed by their commitment to service. Many companies could learn a lot from them. They are truly an awesome company & I pray God blesses them always.

The bed is sturdy but the material is soft and plush, size is accurate as listed. The "mattress" portion is very good quality and, of course, it very easy to unzip the cover and wash this bed. The fabric details, like the piping, give the bed a very finished look. Also, the wide head rest around the bed is very practical. Augie settled right in. Great product!

so comfy and cozy

i wasnt sure if my senior pup would like this as i usually get him soft snuggler types of beds, but with his arthritis i wanted to get him something with more support

i wasnt sure if my senior pup would like this as i usually get him soft snuggler types of beds, but with his arthritis i wanted to get him something with more support. he loves this bed! he’s about 25 lbs and this bed allows him enough room to stretch out if he wants to, and also bring some toys with him to curl up with. and it fits perfectly under the window, we’re very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

As my sweet girl has been growing older, I noticed she was in need of a high quality bed to sleep in. As a pup, she would sleep ANYWHERE but now I noticed she gets up and adjusts herself multiple times throughout the night. Since getting her this bed, that number has significantly decreased. She still moves around from the couch, to the bed, to the foot of my bed, however she has definitely been sleeping more in her kennel where her bed is located. My toddler likes it too!

Our dog's favorite bed

We have a 14-year-old Border Collie/Labrador mix with arthritis. I bought this hoping it would help her sleep better since her normal bed was kind of flat. Plus

We have a 14-year-old Border Collie/Labrador mix with arthritis. I bought this hoping it would help her sleep better since her normal bed was kind of flat. Plus I wanted another bed after my husband decided to take over the living room TV and give me his game room. I put this new bed in the bedroom where our dog's old bed was and put the old bed in my new craft/game room. The dog definitely prefers this bed over her old bed and I noticed she doesn't seem as sore when she gets up in the morning. If I'm upstairs, she usually will take a nap in this bed, even if I'm in the other room. Space-wise, I got the large so she could stretch out on it. She will curl up and sleep on one side, but she will also lay across it, upsidedown, backwards, etc. Her only issue is that two of the cats like to lay on it and she won't push them out of the way, so one of us has to kick them out. Sometimes one of them will lay next to her on the bed if there is space. Of all the beds she's had, this one is definitely her favorite. Now I just need to convince my husband that we need a second one of these in the living room.

Flimsy Foam

This pet bed was a replacement for an existing orthopedic pet bed. We are used to a firm foam for something advertised as orthopedic. The "egg crate" foam included

This pet bed was a replacement for an existing orthopedic pet bed. We are used to a firm foam for something advertised as orthopedic. The "egg crate" foam included is thin and does not fill out the base of the pet bed. It does not give an adequate amount of support for a resting dog. They might as well be resting on the hard floor. I didn't want to be bothered with shipping the bed back - I went out and purchased a 2 inch cushion foam pad 32 inches by 42 inches. It filled out the base of the pet bed and provided much better support for our dog than the "egg crate" foam that it came with. No cost savings for us with this purchase.

I’m so happy with my purchase of this bed. I bought a large in the self-warming option for our dog, Jester (aprx 56 pounds), because he hates being cold and even loves it when we put a blanket on him. And he’s getting older, so he’s been having issues with his legs and I know buddy is in pain when it’s colder. The bed was delivered today and he is already in this bed, happy as can be laying next to me as I type this. I wanted to give the bed the full amount of time to air out but I can’t move the guy. It’s definitely self-warming, when I put my hand on the bed with him on it I can feel the heat around his body.
