Feeding Instructions
Break and feed pieces as a treat, reward, training, or snack.
Benny Bullys products are freeze dried. They have a proprietary kill-step process that includes freeze drying raw frozen beef liver with pumpkin. Basically, all or most of the water is taken out of the product during the freeze drying process removing all harmful pathogens and bacteria. Benny Bullys does not "cook" their treats as that would remove all the natural vitamins and minerals associated with beef liver and pumpkin. They are freeze dried, making a highly palatable treat for the most picky and hard to please pets. There are only 2 ingredients in the Benny Bullys Liver Plus Pumpkin (being beef liver and pumpkin) with no offshore sourcing of our products and made in the USA. Treats should be stored in a dry sealed container in a dry area (not fridge). Once the product gets wet it should be consumed immediately.
Are these easy to break or cut into smaller pieces for training?
Answer by • May 03, 2021
These treats are easy to break and to feed as a treat.
What is the limit on the number of treats in one day for a 70lbs dog?
Answer by • Jul 23, 2022
Feed your pet a few pieces. Benny Bullys treats can also be mixed in with kibble for fussy pets that aren't eating or have health issues. Every dog has individualized caloric needs, depending on age, breed and activity level. Those needs can be hard to assess on your own. Meet with your veterinarian to determine the specific dietary requirements of your dog. Should snack rewards be something you want to continue with your pet, subtract the calories associated with those from your dog’s daily caloric recommendation from your vet to ensure your pet is not overindulging.
A lot of variation in sizes. I like to use treats in different Kong style items that she has to toss it around to get out. Had the use the remaining little bits on lick mats and training treats. No gastrointestinal upset issues though.

Great dog snack
We love chewy, however shipping should take care in packaging of delicate products with canned products, the dog cookies are powdered! not happy about that they are Expensive and it would be nice to receive the product in a somewhat recognizable form. I am not happy. Yes, I am being crabby, but heck they are expensive. Ask shipping to be more aware while packing orders.

Awesome Diabetic Treats!!!
My sweet pup was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I've been on the hunt for something he loves that is also diabetes-compliant. My vet recommended low-fat treats with fiber-rich pumpkin in them and, after doing some research of my own, I found that beef liver is likewise excellent for diabetic dogs. Enter Benny Bullys! These treats are not only fabulous for his diabetes, offering fiber and loads of nutrients, but my excessively picky dog ADORES them and does his belly-up begging for them, which is only reserved for his true favorites. What a relief! I am beyond happy to see him happy again, thank you Chewy!!!!
