I love this set. We keep it outside, elevated, under s bush. My son came by to check on our German Sheppard everyday while we were on our 4-day cruise. The food remained fresh, no insects got in, and my baby loved it. It holds water for nearly as long. Our dog prefers being outside, so it's perfect for her. My sister also got one for her dogs, and loves it too.

This thing is terrific. My Doberman has always had issues putting on weight and maintaining it. Although I feed her double rations from my Catahoula, she just has a very high metabolism. My vet recommended to free feed, so I looked into several feeders but this one caught my eye because of the bottom water dish (which is removable). The dogs took to it right away. The only thing I do is clean out the water bowl part after every few days when I refill it for my dogs (they drink a ton of water). This fits me perfect since my work schedule fluctuates and I now no longer worry about feeding the dogs when I’m in a hurry in the mornings. I just make it a habit to check the level of food that is in the container since I purchased the 25-pound sized one to ensure it doesn’t run empty. The plastic feels heavy duty enough to last a long time.

I am a breeder and have 5 pugs and was constantly refilling water and food bowls, this last a couple days in between having to refill! So handy! My pugs ranging from 4 months to 3 years all use it! Soon as I poured food in they dived in! Only thing is refill cap should have been more sturdy. Pups chewed it off but still works without it. And the spout should have been on top. But love it either way!
Self feeder/water container
I would recommend, we have 2 70lb+ big dogs, it only took a few looks and they figured it out. Only issue is how to fill water. Should have a spout on top corner

Perfect addition

Almost Bear Proof
Left my Bergan K9 Cafe Food Dispenser and Storage out last night with food still in it by mistake. Bear grabbed Dispenser and took off with it. Found it this
Left my Bergan K9 Cafe Food Dispenser and Storage out last night with food still in it by mistake. Bear grabbed Dispenser and took off with it. Found it this morning, snapped the top and door back in, popped out a few dents and almost like new with a few new air holes. Very impressed with quality.

I put food in it and the panel inside to dispense the dog food collapsed, which would not let the door open for the dog to eat.

My German Shepherd absolutely loves it. Easy to clean. He eats a fish based food and with the door, it keeps the food from smelling up the house.

The dogs won't use it
I wouldn't feed them any other way and for 4 days the dogs refused to eat using this feeder. I tried all the tricks; but they went hungry and refused to use this

I like the concept but my dog, not so much. Would work great if she wasn't so scared to push the door with her head.
