The opening for the urns, by size: Small: 4 inches Medium: 5 inches Large: 5.5 inches X-Large: 6.1 inches Please keep in mind that these measurements include the rim of the jar, so the actual opening may be slightly smaller.

I accidentally broke a ceramic urn that came from a pet crematorium 10 years ago with the ashes of my beloved boy. This urn is a most beautiful memorial and a beautiful resting place for Brinker. I note that others were unhappy with the paw prints but they are not machine produced and are not supposed to be perfect. It is made from brass so can't shatter the next time it falls. I am very happy with this product.
