I have a 20lb Boston terrier... is the standard size ok for her?

The Standard size bed is recommended for pets weighing up to 25 pounds and the Jumbo size bed is recommended for pets weighing up to 35 pounds. We recommend measuring your pet in their natural sleeping position to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in his or her normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size. For the complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos.

The cover is just a half blanket and is not removable. This bed is machine washable on a gentle cycle, tumble dry on low heat.

I bought my first bed two years ago and added one last year and now this year. They were out of stock on the blue last year so I got a different bed. It did not hold up to my dogs digging around to get comfortable. These beds have held up better than any other dog bed that I’ve purchased. My dogs enjoy the hooded blanket lid and snuggle under it. The beds stand up to laundering in the washer and dryer. My dogs love them and now they each have their own and they match.

Heck, If I could fit I would sleep in it. My mini dachshund Piper is finally using it. She keeps going into the bigger blanket bed that Shadow is in, because that was the only bed I had, and it fits two mini dachshunds. But she is getting used to it, I wanted them to have their own space. I love that the whole bed is washable when I need to, just like the blanket bed I have. Beautiful color and yes, super soft and dachshunds like to bury!

My dog absolutely loves this bed. Choosing to sleep in it most nights rather than my bed (which is a big deal!). I bought one for her to keep in my car all the time

My dog absolutely loves this bed. Choosing to sleep in it most nights rather than my bed (which is a big deal!). I bought one for her to keep in my car all the time because she loves to travel with me and now o have a third one that stays in our living room. When she gets tired and wants a supportive sleep she will leave whatever comfy furniture she was lounging on and head for her bed. It’s supportive, stands up to her digging in it, and washes really well in the washer! Can’t recommend enough. I bought the first one probably 6 years ago now and it’s still in amazing condition!

When I put this in the floorboard, she crawls in and is calm as she can be throughout the car ride. BUT, when it's in the house, our 39" dog totally dominates it! They both love the cuddle factor of this bed. So now I have to get another one. :-)
