Best Pet Supplies Voyager Fully Adjustable Step-in Mesh Dog Harness, Royal Blue, X-Large

The plastic clasp on this Voyager harness has randomly been getting stuck latched closed on my little dog, she is only five pounds and I thought I was going to hurt her trying to get it unclipped to take it off her. She is a Pomeranian with a full coat so I was also trying not to pull her coat out as well. I have purchased 3 of the same exact harnesses’ for her over the past few years and this has never happened before. I contacted Chewy after the first week, they said they would send a replacement and I could dispose of, or donate the defective. Why would I donate a harness that someone else's dog might also be trapped in? I truly thought about cutting it off of my dog! The next day I saw an email from Chewy stating that I had to return the harness before they would send me the replacement. What?That is not what I was told, and what should I use for my dog meanwhile? I offered to purchase it again, and return the defective after I received the replacement. After 3 more phone calls to Chewy this week, and many more long hold times, the result is .. they will not send a replacement until they receive the return. The harness is no longer on sale this week but price has never been the issue for me, (I had quite a hard time finding one that fit her correctly) but this has involved so much of my TIME, the misinformation received from my very first phone call, waiting for a replacement that never came, calling back, waiting on hold for another supervisory decision, over and over again. The last representative was also a ‘supervisor’ and could see the many call notations on my account and said she was sorry but someone “higher up” changed the prior supervisors decision, no replacement until return. You’re kidding Chewy, not again! End result for me was...cancelled my Chewy auto-ship and move on, shop elsewhere for my pet supplies.. quite sad over a $13.00 defective harness!
