I have two medium breed dogs. One is a lab and blue heeler mix, and the other is a blue-nose pitbull. They are both very heavy chewers. They chew through toys so quickly. I used to get them Nylabones until I realized those were made from nylon. My boys absolutely love the Betterbone. I was worried because I saw reviews saying people's dogs wouldn't chew on Betterbones and only wanted Nylabones. Thankfully, my boys love chewing on the large Betterbone. Because of how durable the large one is, I am getting the small one so that my dogs have some variety.

My girls are quite picky about their chew toys and I originally only bought one to test it out, which was my mistake. I could barely open the box before they were jumping on me and then they’d fight over the one so I had to hide it until the second one showed up, now they are happy girls with their new bones. My girls are very aggressive chewers and usually go through toys quite quickly so I hope these last longer, we will see

Helga returns to this toy again and again.

Our rescue dog seems to comfort herself by chewing - and destroying - toys. While I don’t mind her tearing a tennis ball apart - we don’t want her to injest them

Our rescue dog seems to comfort herself by chewing - and destroying - toys. While I don’t mind her tearing a tennis ball apart - we don’t want her to injest them. Our vet recommended this and Helga enjoys chewing on it off and on throughout the day but especially in the evenings as she learning to settle down after dinner. As a “super chewer” she hasn’t put a dent in it - even after playing with it for weeks.

This helps him get out any pent up energy and lasts for months! (We get the large.) He is a VERY aggressive chewer and eats basically anything so I love that this is an all natural bone.

Waste of money

These are far too expensive for a bone that's supposed to last and be good for our dog. They still splintered and caused our dog to vomit & become constipated.

Looks like a good one

I thought this would work well, but for whatever reason my dog doesn’t play or chew it. I would have given it a higher rating if she showed some interest. I think
