How is this product made? What is the source of the ingredients?

Confidence EQ is a copy of the Equine Appeasing Pheromone, which is thought to help reduce stress in horses. The ingredients are Glycerol, Methyl Hexadecanoate, and Dioxolane. Per CEVA 1-30-2019. The making of this supplement is proprietary to the manufacturer.

Would this work for a gelding or only mares?

ConfidenceEQ can be used for all types of horses (mares, stallions, and geldings).

Does this act as a sedation in any way?

This supplement is not a sedative but is a pheromone that has a calming effect the same as a mare has on her foal, while nursing. No sedation occurs with Confidence EQ.

I got a chance to try this product this week. I found it very helpful for my horses. They were much quieter at the horse show. It works well!
