Yeast dermatitis is a fairly common inflammatory skin condition in pets. The condition is caused by overgrowth of the Malassezia species of yeast, which are normal inhabitants of the skin, ears, and mucocutaneous areas. Yeast infections are particularly common in hot, humid environments.

Not for my cat

My cat hated this product. She refused to eat her food after it was mixed with it. It did not help with her coat at all.

helped cat sneezing /runny nose

My (former feral) cat has ongoing issues with sinus infections and sneezing (I've had him to the vets of course many times for this and he's had various medications

My (former feral) cat has ongoing issues with sinus infections and sneezing (I've had him to the vets of course many times for this and he's had various medications but nothing helped much) After three weeks on this there is a steady and very noticeable decrease in his symptoms. I'll be using this for him from now on. He gets the recommended dose with some water and chicken brother and wet food stirred together.

No help so far

Nothing seems to help my poor pup except Apoquel. I was hoping to get him off of it because of the dangers of it messing with his immunity and the risk of it causing

Nothing seems to help my poor pup except Apoquel. I was hoping to get him off of it because of the dangers of it messing with his immunity and the risk of it causing cancers to grow, but I guess it's unrealistic to expect a more natural fix. I've tried so many products that didn't help. He is on a vegan diet for food allergies and is bathed regularly to keep the dust mites off. I'm halfway through the jar and see no difference so far. I will update my review if there is an improvement.

Some relief

We're using this for a feral cat who has patches of fur missing and grooms nonstop. The fur that she does have is short because she's bitten it off and it's trying

We're using this for a feral cat who has patches of fur missing and grooms nonstop. The fur that she does have is short because she's bitten it off and it's trying to regrow. After using this powder for several weeks, we've seen some improvement. It's not a 100% success, as she still grooms too often and it appears her skin still bothers her. However, it's the only non prescription remedy I've seen on Chewy for skin issues. I think it's our only option for this poor feral girl. I give the product 3 stars and an added 1 star since it's non prescription. I'd recommend if you have no other options, but I think a prescription remedy would work much better.

Goodness does this work well

My cat has seasonal allergies and this has worked out great for him. I just mix it with his wet food at night and he scarfs it down like it's nothing new. Like any

Not a good fit for us.

Believe it or not....but my dogs are allergic to this. Their bellies both turned bright red after starting this vitamin and they went back to normal afterwards
