Sturdy bird ladder for destructive parakeet

LOL this is so well made, the side rails are as thick as my pinkie, and yet my mom's parakeet has already gnawed through both sides at different points as well as

LOL this is so well made, the side rails are as thick as my pinkie, and yet my mom's parakeet has already gnawed through both sides at different points as well as taken off several rungs! She's a determined demo bird! We just add another ladder into the Auto ship every few months and let her have her fun.

The ladders are for Rufus to get around the large aviary. He’s a senior Bengalese finch. He can’t fly and has no tail feathers. I keep an eye and ear open for when he crash lands. I give him a boost to one of the ladders or perches. In his youth he fathered many little birdies so he gets respect in his old age.

Nice basic bird ladder. I've bought several different brands from different pet stores and feel like these ladders are pretty much the same. They differ in height a bit but overall these ladders are pretty consistent no matter where you buy them. The rungs are really skinny no matter what height you get. These were smooth, the hooks stayed in place - no complaints.

All right, however, smaller diameter than what I expected. Bird has not used it yet. The long length is good and hooks easily on side of cage.
