My white tailed deer, especially the bucks, go for this in a big way. Turkeys and squirrels. Chipmunks and Opossums too find the mix nutritious and sweet with the dried fruits. We must change laws to make it legal to feed wildlife. 70% lost since 1955. God, our universal creator, understandably, is furious.

THE FOOD WAS SPOILED WITH MAGGOTS!

We bought two bags of these “Bird Pro No-Mess Fruit, Nut, & Berry Buffet Holistic Bird Food 5-lb bag(s). Opened immediately and was met with sticky webbing clumping

We bought two bags of these “Bird Pro No-Mess Fruit, Nut, & Berry Buffet Holistic Bird Food 5-lb bag(s). Opened immediately and was met with sticky webbing clumping these various nuts together. Then we found maggots in BOTH bags. Chewy should know storage of ALL animal food should certainly be kept climate controlled if not in cooler places. And they should not sell EXPIRED FOOD! We beg shoppers to please check for dates on bags (see the expiration but also when it was “picked”, bagged and how long it’s been sitting in storage before reaching you!). Particularly go through your wildlife (like birds) feed they sell. Most haven’t been an issue but we bought 2 bags of these great multi nut, fruit n berry bags & they’d already spoiled SO BAD, that maggots had hatched and more sticky webbing was clumped in the bag. What a waste! And it could’ve sickened our wild birds! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Expensive but worth it!

This food is the first one I've found that is really nuts and fruits. Peanuts, almonds, sunflower chips, walnut pieces, dried cherries, raisins and cranberries

Amazing For Wildlife

Chock full of fruits and nuts. Feed is fresh and smells amazing better than trail mix I bought for myself! Nuts are not dried up and stale and the fruits are soft

Chock full of fruits and nuts. Feed is fresh and smells amazing better than trail mix I bought for myself! Nuts are not dried up and stale and the fruits are soft. Larger pieces as the photo depicts so larger birds such as Jays are very much into it but there some smaller bits that nuthatches. titmice, cardinals and even the little black capped chickadees come in for. Very clean of inedible debris. Not sure of the reasoning behind adding artificial flavoring as IMO there seems no need for it to be added at all especially for something branded as "Holistic" Anyway, I decided to give it a try during Chewys end of year sale as it is expensive and I couldn't afford it any other time. PS...had to order another bag before the sale ended. )

Birds and other wildlife in north NJ like it very much

Only complaint is the fruit comes in large sticky clumps that clog the 1-1/4" funnel I use to fill my feeders. Don't have that problem with Wild Birds Unlimited

Good variety of nuts and fruit

I was really impressed with the variety of nuts and fruit this contains, but only gave it 3 stars because the birds aren’t as impressed as I am. I get smaller birds

I was really impressed with the variety of nuts and fruit this contains, but only gave it 3 stars because the birds aren’t as impressed as I am. I get smaller birds which prefer the sunflower seeds, but not even the bigger birds - cardinals, woodpeckers, blue jays and doves - went for this like I expected. I typically toss it on the ground now for the squirrels. They love it.
