Cheap and unclear what you receive

I ordered a Birdfy Smart Bird Feeder 2 with Camera Duo AI Lifetime Free, Green. However the box I received has no indication that the Lifetime AI is included with the item. After contacting customer support and elevating to speak to a supervisor they have no way of telling me what they actually sent me as the box doesn't have an actual barcode on it, but a sticker barcode that is applied by the manufacturer. They couldn't even correlate to me what manufacturer sticker code matched with the SKU that they have on their website. Now the only solution to find out if I actually received the correct item is to go through the entire setup process of downloading the app and registering the device. Problem is this was bought as a gift and I'm not going to register an account for someone else that i bought it for. Worst possible outcome, horrible customer service experience as I had to repeat the problem multiple times over before it was actually understood and then the solution offered is absurd when the problem clearly lies with Chewy, the manufacturer, and the lack of clarity in packaging. I was already a bit skeptical of the item and how it would perform, now this experience has solidified my thoughts that it is most likely something made as cheaply as possible with a money grab for subscription to a service that most likely won't work as advertised. Now I get to wait till after Christmas when the gift receiver sets up the device to find out that I get to call customer service again....CAN'T WAIT!!!!
