A great little bird feeder!

It’s really well constructed and the recycled plastic material it’s made of is really sturdy. It’s definitely not going to break if it gets knocked down. The design makes it easy to fill, easy to clean, and easy for birds to access. I really like the color too - it’s different from typical feeders but still blends in nicely with natural surroundings. And the birds in my yard took right to it after I hung it up. I deducted 1 star only because the size was listed as 14 x 14 x 11 inches, but the feeder is a lot smaller than that. I’m including photos showing actual measurements. If you’re looking for a big feeder with room for lots of birds, or room for bigger birds, this isn’t it. See my photo of a bluejay just barely hanging on lol. But the littler ones like tufted titmice and goldfinches love it! It does however hold close to 2 quarts of seed as advertised. I measured using a 2 qt jar. I could fit most of the seed if I filled it to the tippy top, but when filled to just below the top of the clear sides, which I think is more reasonable, there was around 1&1/2 cups of seed left over. Not quite 2 quarts, but close enough. Overall, it’s a great little feeder that holds a surprising amount of seed, extremely well made and attractive, both to birds and to the humans who love to watch them! I highly recommend this feeder if you are looking for something small, and I definitely recommend the Birds Choice brand for more size options.

Great sturdy feeder that holds ample seed

This bird feeder is a beautiful aqua color and is very sturdy! I really like that the bottom is mesh to let air in since the last bird feeder I bought kept growing mold. The lid slides up easy for refilling and cleaning, and the hanging wire is nice and thick. I expect this bird feeder to last many years! My kitten, Rue, was the first to scope it out. It took a couple days before any of the birds would touch it, but they finally got up the nerve to check it out. First the house finches, then the black cap chickadees, tufted titmouse, and a few cardinals came to eat. Then, to my surprise, a female goldfinch showed up! I've never seen her at my feeders before. I only use the less mess kind of birdseed, so I am not sure how other seeds would do, but it holds quite a bit of seed, probably about 2-3 lbs (this is the medium size hopper feeder). I have not had to refill it once since I set it up 8 days ago and there is still a lot of seed in it. Next time I may opt to put in less seed to I can clean it frequently without wasting. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the design seems to only fit the smallest birds. The largest bird I have seen on it is a cardinal. While I like pretty much all birds, and don't want to deter some of the bigger birds, I think many people might enjoy this aspect. I'll continue to put out suet for the larger birds like blue jays, woodpeckers, and brown thrashers since they prefer it over the seed mix I use.

Best Backyard Bird House Feeder!

I was very pleased to receive my Birds Choice Hopper FDR Feeder! I live in South Florida and feed many birds of all varieties year round. This Feeder is very cute

I was very pleased to receive my Birds Choice Hopper FDR Feeder! I live in South Florida and feed many birds of all varieties year round. This Feeder is very cute and very well made. I love how easy it is to fill up as I feed a lot of birds each day. This is why I am also pleased with how much it actually holds. It is really easy to keep clean which is very important here with how much rain we get during the rainy season. All in all, I think this Feeder is a keeper and will be around a long time. I can tell you that the birds sure do enjoy it! I would definitely recommend this Birds Choice Feeder.
