Can the mesh bottom be removed for cleaning?

This screen can be removed with a screwdriver and square bit. You would need to remove one side panel to remove the screen.

How far down does it hang? / how long are the metal bars?

This feeder measures 9 inches overall when hanging and 7 inches from top of S hook to the start of the feeder.

Hold a lot, and keeps seed dry

Posey, my dog, likes to keep the birds happy, but those darn squirrels like it too. I liked the mesh for keeping seed dry, however, the folding and hanging part makes it cumbersome. The squirrels love it and the birds seem to enjoy when given a chance.

Perfect size & depth, pretty sturdy

This is the perfect tray feeder! Our small songbirds love it. We fill with exclusively sunflower chips. It accommodates 7-8 birds at once, and we can see them clearly

This is the perfect tray feeder! Our small songbirds love it. We fill with exclusively sunflower chips. It accommodates 7-8 birds at once, and we can see them clearly. They love to perch on the rim (or sit on the seeds lol) as they nibble.

Very well constructed.

The birds really love it as it's large enough and sturdy enough to hold many hungry birds. The red cardinals and doves, both platform feeders seem to really enjoy

The birds really love it as it's large enough and sturdy enough to hold many hungry birds. The red cardinals and doves, both platform feeders seem to really enjoy it! Plus, after being knocked down out of the tree, I believe it's pretty much Raccoon proof as it didn't break and was too large for them to carry it off! Happy birds, happy momma!

Good Sturdy Product!

I bought this when it was on sale, and it works very well. It holds a lot of seed, and the four separate wires help to stabilize it well, as long as the seed is

I bought this when it was on sale, and it works very well. It holds a lot of seed, and the four separate wires help to stabilize it well, as long as the seed is spread evenly. My only issue is that when a bird tried to land on it to eat, the tray would sway and swing, causing the birds to fly away. However, this was easily fixed by tying it to the fence surrounding my deck with a short bungee cord.

These are excellent open tray feeders! Very stable. Easy to take down and put up. Easy to clean. Deep enough to keep seeds from spilling. Shallow enough to see

These are excellent open tray feeders! Very stable. Easy to take down and put up. Easy to clean. Deep enough to keep seeds from spilling. Shallow enough to see the birds who like to stand in them. Nice color. Stainless steel rod hangers--much better than wires. Measure 9.5 x 9.25, so technically not 10", but the birds and I love them!
